In honor of World Population Day and the launch of the Global State of World Population Report 2025 (SWOP 2025), UNFPA Turkmenistan announces a watercolor contest!

The theme of the contest is "Family begins with desire and support". The watercolor artwork should show that the possibility of creating a desirable family depends not only on personal aspiration, but also on removing barriers. Depict how economic stability, access to secondary schools and preschools, gender equality, access to quality reproductive health services, and confidence in the future help people realize their family dreams. The picture should show how creating an enabling environment supports each person's family choices overcoming obstacles. 

Who can participate: Artists from 15 years and older. Each participant can submit one original watercolor work.

Deadline: 🗓️ By June 30, 2025.
